We Finnish off our 2026 Season with our Annual 2 day Test match against Bradenham Cricket Club

The Match in memory of our good friend Liam Exley,
Who is sorely missed by everyone at Swaffham Cricket Club,

Saturday kicks off from 10AM, With this year being the turn off Bradenham to host we look forward to what’s set to be a great event,

With some great items up for auction this year it should really be an event to remember

🏆 Norfolk Alliance Division 3 Champions🏆

Saturday saw us round off the season in style with a Title winning Double W Saturday 😮‍💨

Congratulations Going to the 1st XI who confirmed the Title with a convincing win over local rivals Bradenham Cricket Club in what has been a comprehensive display throughout the season.😎

Roll on Div 2 next year 2️⃣

The 2nd XI put on a great display throughout the season and was bitterly unlucky to come away from this season without promotion, with results not falling our way even with Saturdays comfortable victory over Sandringham & Dersingham still not being enough.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every Supporter, Sponsor, Player, and Member throughout the season for all your efforts for the club.💚

We finish our 2026 calendar with our annual Test Match event being hosted By Bradenham CC this weekend, with play kicking off from 11am on Saturday

Yet another double W Saturday

A massive knock from Alexander Adam Payne saw the 1st XI set 212 backed up by a solid performance with the ball saw us home💚

2nd XI set a good score of 207 with a huge knock from Harry Eves helping set the platform for the bowlers to Defend.

This sets up a huge Weekend for the club with the equations being simple,

1st XI win against Bradenham to secure the Division 3 Title.

2nd XI must win against Sandringham, and hope either New Buckenham loose to Norwich Malayalees or Sherringham loose to Aylsham👀

Teams for tomorrow🏏

The 1st XI having secured second place and are looking for 2 more wins to win the league, they are hosting Acle Cricket Club. The 2nd XI are still pushing for promotion, they are on the road to Gooderstone.

Cricket Weekender Complete!

Friday,
We had the pleasure of hosting the 8:56 Foundation in our Yearly T20 game, Unfortunately loosing the match but all for raising funds for such a great cause, a good night all round.

Saturday,
The 1st XI confirmed there spot in the top 2 with Saturdays convincing victory over Brooke.

The 2nd XI carried on there good run of results chasing down 255 in 35 overs, leaving them 3rd.

Saturdays results leave the 1st XI 2 wins from securing the League Title, And the 2nd XI winning their last 2 games and other results dependant could see them Finnish in 2nd place.

Sunday,
Sunday saw the ‘Social XI’ head to fakenham for their yearly Sunday Big Bash competition,
Drawing the hosts in the semi final was always a tough ask, but due to a good all round performance saw us Convertibly brush aside Fakenham’s XI, And progress to the final of the competition where we faced Barney Cricket club
A big Ton from Ben Mills saw us set a competitive score of 172, Unfortunately unable to defend the total, unfortunate not to win but congratulations to Barney Cricket Club on a well deserved trophy.

We Look forward to a massive couple of weeks for the club💚

The 1st XI are hosting Brooke Cricket Club looking to secure top 2, whilst the 2nd XI are hosting Great Ellingham Cricket in their fight for promotion.

Winning weekend for SCC🏏

The 1st XI winning by a mammoth 188 runs! The pick of the batters Josh Pirie with 69 off just 56 balls and our opening bowlers going to work and finishing the job with David Annakin getting season best figures of 6/30 off his 9.

The 2nd team also had a comfortable win by 6 wickets. The pick of the batters Alex Reardon with 98* off 85 balls and the pick of the bowlers Stuart James with 5-29.

Both Dave and Yoda made the Norfolk honours board.
