This is a fundraiser raising money for local junior players, open to ANYONE (adults & youths) aged 10+.

**Just to clarify if you’re joining and are under 18 you can play with your desired partner rather than be paired up ‘blindly’ with a stranger.

🎯 FUNDRAISING DARTS TOURNAMENT AT THE ANCHOR! 🎯

Get yourselves down to The Anchor, Newhall on Friday 18th September for a fantastic night of darts, competition and fundraising! 🎯🍻

It’s Doubles – Blind Pairs, with just a £5 entry fee per player. Registration is by 6:30pm, with a 7pm start. There’s a trophy and cash prizes up for grabs, plus raffle prizes to be won! 🏆💷

Most importantly, we’re raising funds to support young darts players in our local community, so come along, throw a few arrows and help us support a brilliant cause! ❤️🎯

🎯 EXCITING NEWS FOR SWADLINCOTE DARTS ACADEMY! 🎯

We’re incredibly excited to announce that an excellent opportunity has arisen for our academy! We have been invited to participate in the Team Academy Cup, hosted by the National Junior Darts Association, taking place on September 27th 2026! 🏆

For this event, we have been asked to select five players to represent Swadlincote Darts Academy, and we’re delighted to announce that Alfie, Archie, Ellis, Riley & Tom will be stepping up to represent the academy as our first-ever tournament team! 💚🖤

We want you all to know that choosing just five players from our fantastic group was not an easy decision, and we want every single one of our academy members to know that not being selected this time is absolutely nothing to be disappointed about. This is only the beginning! 🤞🏻

We’re hoping this will be the first of many team tournaments and official events for Swadlincote Darts Academy. As opportunities continue to grow, our aim is to give more players, different players and different combinations of teams the chance to represent the academy, gain experience, build confidence and most importantly… enjoy being part of the team! 💚🖤

Every player has an important part to play in our academy, whether they’re competing, supporting from the sidelines, practising alongside their teammates or simply continuing to learn and improve.
We win together, learn together and grow together. 🎯

So, let’s get behind our first Team Academy Cup squad and wish Alfie, Archie, Ellis, Riley & Tom the VERY best of luck! 🏆🤞🏻

🎯 CONGRATULATIONS to Archie W — the winner of the latest Summer Tournament! (August 19th)

⭐️ He’s also made it into the final of the 16 player Tournament, we began last week!

🍀 Good luck to both Archie W and Alfie E for Wednesday!

We will probably have time to host one more Summer Tournament this Wednesday, before we return to league games when everyone returns to school in September! 🎯

⭐️ Charles P collected his Player of the Week certificate from a couple of weeks back when he demonstrated immense skill and focus in Lewis’s Double in - Double out tournament.

His darts maths skills are incredible and he is always up for scoring matches with a can-do attitude, he gives everything a really good go! 💪🏼 🎯

⭐️ Riley M was this weeks Weekly Challenge winner, with a winning score of 120!

Absolutely amazing target hitting! 🤩

He also threw himself into completing his first Unicorn Routine, earning himself a well-deserved ‘Global’ title! We will be continuing these routines every session going forward, with Chelsea and Luke running these and reporting back to the Unicorn rep every eight weeks with an average for each player 🎯
