Construction qualifications & short courses in plastering, tiling & brickwork, motor vehicle maintenance, plus CSCS training.

Practical, hands-on courses designed to boost skills and career opportunities in construction and mechanics. Training Centres in Swadlincote, Burton on Trent, Barlborough, Pinxton, Ripley and Staveley. We are the local CSCS card training and testing centre. We offer a full range of Construction courses in Plastering, Wall & Floor Tiling, Brickwork and Motor Vehicle Maintenance from Diplomas Levels 1,2 and 3 and NVQ's 2 and 3. Most of our courses are fully funded including courses for Adults all ages who are unemployed or on a low income. Short 5 day courses are available in Plastering, Tiling and Bricklaying. We work with local schools and authorities to engage youngsters in construction training. We also offer BTEC courses in Construction suitable for 14 - 16 year olds working as an alternative provision to traditional schooling.

Well... that's it! 🎬

After years of being the slightly bossy manager (my team will definitely say very bossy 😂), today is my last day in a role I've absolutely loved.

To every learner – thank you. Every single one of you has mattered. Whether you were with us for five days or a full programme, you've all been part of the journey. Watching people grow in confidence, gain skills and move into employment has been the biggest privilege.

To our suppliers, employers and supporters – thank you for believing in what we do and helping us create opportunities that change lives.

And to the incredible team... what can I say? You are simply the best. You care about every learner as if they've paid a million pounds to be there, when in reality many simply needed someone to believe in them. Your patience, kindness, hard work and absolute dedication never go unnoticed. You really do change lives every single day.

If anyone is looking to train in construction or motor vehicle... honestly, this is the place. The facilities are fantastic, but it's the people that make it special.

So, from one very grateful (and occasionally bossy! 😆) manager...
