Here's a few photos from our recent visit to Mercian Cycles in Little Eaton!

They hosted a Festival of Steel, organised by Belper Cycling Club, and we took part in the Jeff Bowler 50km ride around the hills of Derbyshire - great fun, but hard going on those hills! 💪

Belper Cycling Club and Mercian made everyone feel extremely welcome and looked after us so well throughout the day.

A brilliant day out with a truly legendary brand - Thanks for having us! 🚲

Bike(s) of the week! 🚲

A highly valued regular customer brought his Genesis Croix de Fer in for an upgrade from 2x10 gearing to 1x12 GRX. He was so happy with the result that he left with a bonus - a beautifully restored Mercian!

We built it up using a frame very kindly donated by Geoff from Downhill Smooth Tarmac Cycling the 2x10 groupset taken off the Croix de Fer, and a few other parts we had knocking about the shop.

Thanks to Geoff for your help building the bike, it's great to have a guest expert mechanic for the day.
