Huge congrats to Ness for stepping up to the bar today, the regional stage is a big one and with it comes a lot of pressure

The judging standards are elite and the performance expectation relfects that

With just a few focused weeks of preparation for this event, physio galore and a few pep talks from coach and the team

Struggling to set your Hollow Body in the hang?

Are your shoulders shrugging as soon as you bend the arms?

Here is a great primer to build the connection for your hollow body hang, knee raises, pull ups and muscle ups

Set a band over the bar,
Get one end in each hand/ loop a bar through,
Kneel directly beneath it,
Set your core (hips to ribs, squeeze glutes)
Keep your chest pointed down towards the floor
Allow the band to passively pull your arms up,
Reach as high as you can,
Then, keeping the arms straight
keep the band away from you & drive it down in front
Shoulders down away from ears
Fan your shoulder blades apart

This will transform your hanging hollow activations ⛩️
