Our ticket sales for🌲Dance in the Forest 2026📷 are live.

Our annual dance showcase for all of the Primary Schools in the district and local community groups.

The event is being held at The Glade, Rosliston Forestry Centre. 18:30 - 20:30, Wednesday 3rd June 2026.

🏐 Goalball & Boccia Events at Greenbank Leisure Centre!
Over two fantastic afternoons, we welcomed:

15 teams & 50 pupils for Goalball (Fri 17 Oct)
20 teams & 80 pupils for KS2 Boccia (Wed 22 Oct)

Both events were a brilliant showcase of inclusive sport, teamwork, and fun! Huge thanks to Everyone Active for hosting us at Greenbank Leisure Centre and to School Games for supporting these opportunities.
👏 Amazing effort from all the pupils and school staff involved!

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ A brilliant afternoon of cross country hosted by Linton Primary School!
7 schools came together — Belmont, Coton, Etwall, Linton, Melbourne Juniors, Newhall Juniors & Pennine Way — with around 150 Year 3–6 pupils giving it their all 💪
Big thanks to our venue, Linton Primary School, and to our funders, Your School Games, for helping make this event possible.

Just over a week to go until our 70 mile challenge 🙌🏼🚴🏼

In less than two weeks, Liam Goode from South Derbyshire Active Schools Partnership will be taking on the 70-mile bike ride challenge in support of Freya and her treatment journey. 🚴‍♂️💪

The partnership team and Active South Derbyshire are teaming up to cycle 70 miles on the 22nd July. The aim is to raise money for the life saving treatment that Freya needs and to help get her back into remission.
