The kids have been up to the ground again tonight jumping all over the training nets causing more damage. The group also seems to be growing. One on a Surron bike with white tyres.
Please be vigilant when walking round the area of the ground and any information that can be reported please get in touch.
IMPORTANT PUBLIC INFORMATION:
It is with deep sadness and frustration that we inform our community that our cricket club has been vandalised once again by whom we think to be a group of around 20 kids on Monday Night. After all the hard work, time, and dedication poured in by our members, and supporters, this act is not just criminal — it’s soul-destroying.
Not only have they damaged the youth playing track with bikes, which our grounds team put tireless amounts of work in to make sure this is the best it can be but they have caused significant damage to our training nets. Attempted to set a bench on fire and tried to break in to the garage.
Further to this ALL access to the ground will be blocked as there are no permissible rights of access to the public!
This club is more than just a building or a pitch. It is a home for friendships, sportsmanship, and community spirit. Seeing it damaged in this way is a heavy blow to everyone who has invested their passion into making it a welcoming and thriving place.
We are working with the relevant authorities and will do everything we can to repair the damage and ensure this space remains safe for everyone. But we cannot do this alone. If you have any information or can offer any support — whether practical or moral — we welcome it with open arms.
To those responsible: you have not broken our spirit. If anything, this brings us closer together.
