On Friday I was back down in Southampton, helping out with another education event. This time my colleague James and I explained the role of the Surveying and Data Editing team within the business to Year 7 and 8 students from local schools, and challenged them to come up with new features for us to capture. Their ideas included defibrillators, EV charging stations, and traffic lights to help emergency services plan their journeys more effectively.

Last weekend I was supposed to be running the Lakes Traverse, but seeing as the race company had apparently been using this year's entry fees to pay off debts from last year's race, we got an email two weeks before the start saying they were going into administration. To salvage the situation I had a run across the Peak District instead - starting in Congleton and finishing at Stone Edge, taking in the most westerly and easterly points along the way. I'd done a similar thing in 2019 as a walk split over two days - hence the comparison photos. A big thank you to to the Sarah for driving me to the start of the route the night before, and for letting me head out on all the training runs over the last few months.

Super proud of Toby, who nailed his role as the Sheriff of Nottingham in the school play (including singing solo on stage) and then won trainer of the night at football practice this evening.

A pre-dawn start for a run around Haweswater Reservoir. Despite a slightly pessimistic forecast from MWIS, it turned out to be a nice day.
