Be safe in the knowlege that you are been taught to be a real Martial artist. Remember its not a race to Black belt and beyond its about quality, its about you. THE HISTORY OF ABSOLUTE TAE KWON-DO ASSOCIATION. Tae Kwon-Do was first introduced into the United Kingdom during 1967. We teach the ITF (international TKD Federation) style of Tae Kwon -do. Due to differences in political views arising out of Korea a few different groups came into existence. In the United Kingdom a few associations became more interested in political views
and financial gains. Thus ATKDA came into existence in 2010, the aim of this association is to teach for the Value of martial arts and to abide by the tenets just as a student should. In January 2011 the ATKDA founded the government registered NGB International Taekwondo Council to assist in the growth of Tae Kwon do and also founded in 2020 the Taekwondo Council Inited Kingdom NGB. As of the 7th of May 2011 the ATKDA was invited and became recognised as an official ITF school of Tae Kwon do under plaque number 7077 then retired the plaque in 2015
ATKDA is not interested in the politics of government, instructors or associations. Our reward is the contribution as an instructor and association attributing to the
improvement of the students we teach. Covering the areas of, Four oaks, Boldmere, Little aston,Great Barr, Walsal, Erdington, New oscott, Birmingham, West midlands, and growing. Aims:
To assist all schools in attaining the required paperwork and insurances to be an official ATKDA member school. To help and guide on the best path to promote the art of taekwondo. To ensure the safety of all students and instructors alike. To assist with grant gaining without taking a cut of the grant gained. Ultimatly to unite all schools and practitioners of taekwondo without biase, politics, gread, falseness just to pass on and become a part of the legacy that was left for us to follow and in effect leave our own true legacy.
