Hereโs what Iโm doing with my body after my wedding & honeymoonโฆโจ
๐๐ข๐๐ - After getting married three weeks ago and spending two incredible weeks on my honeymoon, Iโm finally home and settling back into normal life.
Iโm certainly feeling a little different in myself compared to before which is obviously to be expected! Wedding celebrations followed by two weeks of amazing food, cocktails, late nights and little routine has naturally left me feeling a bit out of sync, and thatโs completely normal! ๐ธ
Iโm still getting over the jet lag, so my energy has been all over the place and my body clock is still adjusting. But rather than expecting myself to jump straight back into giving everything 100%, Iโm easing myself back into my usual routine, giving myself plenty of grace and aiming for at least 7 hours of sleep each night ๐
๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ - I trained here and there while we were away, but I didnโt follow any strict plan. Every location was different, so I just moved my body because it felt good!
Now Iโm enjoying getting back into a structured routine and gradually building my strength back up, instead of expecting to lift the same weights I was lifting over a month ago ๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ
๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง - Iโm not detoxing or following any harsh diet, Iโm simply filling my fridge with the foods I love that make me feel my best and focusing on having high-protein, nourishing and gut-friendly meals that I genuinely enjoy ๐ซ
Right now, my focus isnโt on chasing a certain look, itโs on feeling energised, fuelling my body well and getting back into habits that make me feel really good! โจ
This is your reminder ladies that itโs ok to enjoy lifeโs biggest moments without feeling guilty afterwards! One holiday, one honeymoon, or a few weeks out of routine doesnโt undo months or years of consistency ๐ค
