If you think your work is done going to the gym 4-6 x per week, you WRONG.

Going to the gym is the easy part, living a high performance lifestyle outside of the gym is the hard part.

Consistently sleeping 7-9hrs, eating a whole food diet, staying hydrated, proactively investing in your recovery, reading daily, meditating and just being mindful that every decision is to upgrade your health and wellness is the hard part.

Human performance isn’t just about preparing people for sport. We prepare people for life’s adventures, to help them get the most out of their endeavours.

One of our clients, Kate, recently went on an expedition to the Arctic, to photograph polar bears and the incredible landscape. A trip of a lifetime, but don’t be fooled, it required solid and consistent endurance.

When discussing the project with Kate, it became clear the physical demands of such an expedition were going to be challenging.

Living off shore for 6 nights, dealing with sea sickness, temps as low as -30c, manoeuvring in flotation suits on and off the expedition boat, and in and out the zodiacs, not to mention the varied and comprising terrain, whilst carrying 10/15kg of kit and holding cameras weighing over 5kg still, to get the shot.

Huge congratulations to Kate on the expedition and for capturing incredible landscape and wildlife photographs. Checkout to see her work.
