Well what a day of sorting things! As many of you have been contacted by now following Cheeky Charlie’s closing, most of you will have learned a lot about how we do things in the last few hours.

We have been in talks with Wessington pub throughout the day trying to book things and make payments to them in respect of deposits and I’m sure many people on the page will have had a refund by now and we are still working through them over the course of the next week.

A decision was made to close and all deposits will be returned but please understand we are trying to do as many as possible as quickly as possible, if you have any questions or queries please message us.

Also we have closed but not entered liquidation yet and will probably not till next month or the month after if we have to. All customers are our priority and we appreciate the sentiments on messages today. It’s been hard for staff and management to accept this and still ensure we provide support to customers in a time where they are rightfully panicking about impending parties.

This is a post we have seen sent out by a local school. Please if nothing else look and check your child’s phone, iPad etc. This is not a bad thing, all we seem to read in the news etc is that predators are trying to groom our children and now games like this.

If your not sure on what safeguarding things you can do at home then ask us as we can assist you in setting up parental control on devices and your internet.

Please keep our children safe and don’t take this as another scare! It’s only getting worse and we as parents need to step up to ensure we protect our kids.
