Tyneside Raiders Netball Club

Tyneside Raiders Netball Club Netball Club for children and adults. Tyneside Raiders Netball Club caters for both children and adults. Division 4 teams are based on Back to netball players.

Training takes place every Tuesday at Monkwearmouth Academy.

*5:30-6:30pm - Ages 5-11 (primary y2-6)
*6:30-7:30pm - Years 7-11
*7:30-9pm - Adults Venue - Monkwearmouth Academy and Epinay School

Our children ages currently range from 5 - 18 year olds. Our netball philosophy is based on sports for all with a focus on skill development and learning the game. As our girls get to know the game,

we offer competitive matches in both local leagues and tournaments. Children
School years 2-6 - Monday 4.50-5.50pm @ Epinay School
School years 7-8 - Tuesday 5.30-6.30pm @ Monkwearmouth Academy
Schools year 9-11 - Tuesday 6.30-7.30pm @ Monkwearmouth Academy

Our juniors enter the North Durham Junior Leagues which are based at the Beacon and Gateshead Stadium. Adults

We have several adult netball teams ranging in ability. We have teams in all divisions from 1 - 4 in the North Durham Netball League. If people want to come for fun and fitness they are not required to play for a team. Just come along and have a go. Tuesday 7.30-9pm @ Monkwearmouth Academy

Under 11D worked so hard against a very good wildcats team, and under 15D displayed some lovely netball through their game.
One win (through forfeit) and one loss today but the girls put every ounce of effort into it and never gave up!! ❤️🖤🤍

💙Cost £10 to be paid on the day

🚨 Closing date for the trials is Friday 3rd July 2026

Our pre trial sessions are designed to give athletes a taste of the trial environment

Led by our performance lead they will cover:

Trial Expectations
Preparation
Nailing the basics

Priority will be given to those affiliated to North Durham clubs and will run on the following dates:

U13 (school year 7 & 8 in September)- 10th September - 6-8pm
U15 (school year 9 & 10 in September) - 17th September - 6-8pm
@ Beacon of Light

Sessions will cost £5 per person (North Durham members) or £10 per person (non-North Durham members)
