Zachary was extremely excited for his hoof boot fitting this morning… 😴😂

It took him a little while to wake up, but while Sleepy Head was catching up on his beauty sleep, I got to meet the gorgeous little Louie 👶🏻💙

Zach’s owner had recently purchased a pair of Scoot Boots through an online fitting service, but unfortunately they just weren’t the right fit. They were too small, creating pressure points and making them uncomfortable. 😬

After a proper assessment and plenty of trying different options, we decided that Explora Magic boots were the best choice for him. 🐴

One of the things I love about the Explora Magic is just how adjustable they are and can all be fine-tuned with nothing more than an Allen key, allowing for a far more customised fit whilst In between trims.

Every horse is different, and that’s exactly why a professional fitting makes such a difference. The right boot isn’t always the most popular one, it’s the one that fits that horse’s hoof best. 👍🐴

🐴 Did you know I don’t just fit new hoof boots… I also offer visits to check and fine-tune the boots you already have.

This morning’s visit is a great example. My client already had Flex Boots, and with a few simple adjustments to the straps (need to be trimmed), the addition of some of my wool pads, and a recommendation to swap the inside pins for flat-head pins (a quick and easy job), they were good to go. 👍

Sometimes it’s the smallest tweaks that make the biggest difference to your horse’s comfort and performance.

While I was there, we also carried out a fitting for the hind feet, so they’re now all set 🐎
