Darke Cycles Darke Cycles was established in September 1982 in Fulwell, Sunderland during the BMX boom. We repair any brand and offer custom wheel building.

The store was extremely popular and after only one year, we moved to larger premises. In 1989, we were asked by Raleigh to move to the Town Centre and since then we have experienced rapid growth. We moved three more times within Sunderland Town Centre, as the town made way for a new Cinema Complex and Bowling Alley, and have now been at our current location at 1 John St, Sunderland for more than 7

years. Since day one, our aim was to establish a good customer base for bikes, repairs, cycle hire and part exchange. We stock all of the biggest brands including Raleigh, Mongoose, GT, Diamond Back, Rocker Mini BMX, Ghost and Cannondale. If it's got wheels on it, we can fix it!
