Last game for SCJ Defoe. The lads finished the season as they started. Two games in two days but they looked fit and strong and didn't let it effect them. MOM each and every player.

Great performance after last weeks disappointment. Great all round display by the lads and hard to pick a MOM but we agreed Aaron this week. Loads of effort, massive smile and a goal as well. Well done 👏👏👏⚽️⚽️⚽️

21/09/19. SCJ Defoe 1-1 Washington Tigers. Frustrating is a word I think sums up this match. Wasn't our day and despite an extraordinary amount of chances in the second half they just wouldn't go in. 3 more games to go for us 👏👏👍👍⚽️⚽️

15/09/19 Tekkers Red 4-2 SCJ Defoe.
Not our day today. After great graft and performance yesterday think it had taken its toll on some of the boys. Genuinely gutted at the end as it wasn't a match that showed how we normally play. Credit to Tekkers who never gave and came from behind for the win, hopefully we'll get the better of them one day😃. MOM for me was Noah P. Solid and reliable in defence and starting to really own that position.
4 more games to go so we still in the promotion fight 👍👍👍⚽️⚽️⚽️

14/09/19 Peterlee Helford 0-3 SCJ Defoe. Battle between 2nd and 3rd in the league. Tough match as Peterlee pressed us in first half and out of only a couple of shots on target from us it was good to go in 1-0 up at half time thanks to cracking free kick from Zac.
A better second half from us saw us get 2 more to seal a 3 nil win and keep us in touching distance with first place. MOM shared between Zac and Noah R who had some amazing solo runs which set up goal number 3.
Great game by all. Get rested up and ready to go again tomorrow against Tekkers

7/9/19 SCJ 1-1 Hebburn Town. Return to league action. Always a tough game against the Hebburn teams but happy with how we played. MOM Ben today, great goal by Dan and happy birthday tomorrow to Noah P. 👏👏👏⚽️⚽️⚽️🎂🎂
