On the 23rd and 24th of May the boys competed in the Blackpool Football Tournament and came away with third place! ๐
To say they played outstanding would be an understatement. They played some unbelievable football and gave 110% effort in every single game. They scored a whopping 40 goals throughout the whole tournament, which is an achievement in itself. Every single player brought something to the team - they all matched in energy and determination, it really was a pleasure to watch!
โญ๏ธ Our goalkeeper making some brilliant decisions and not being afraid to come out and keep his team in the game.
โญ๏ธ Our upfront and midfield players who were scoring goals for fun, passing and moving the ball around effortlessly.
โญ๏ธ Our wingers who were working those lines like their lives depended on it, getting through balls to create as many chances as possible.
โญ๏ธ Our defenders for being fearless when going in for tackles and challenges, also keeping us in the game.
It was a brilliant weekend from start to finish. Plenty of sunshine, laughter and a great time for everyone involved! A massive thank you to coach Chris for all of his hard work to get the boys to where they are today. And for standing in the blistering sun, coaching on the sidelines at Blackpool encouraging the boys to do their best.
