Great first event in the Scottish Legends Cars Championship! Solid results starting from the back each time with lap times that puts us in the top 10!

What a car to drive, I don’t think I’ve stopped grinning!

We have decided that we will race the Legend instead of the Mini tomorrow!

Bring it on 💪

A weekend of highs and lows for the karting team at Ellough Park Raceway Beccles for BPEC rounds 7 & 8. With both teams bagging their best results of the season! But it didn't come easy!

Qualifying 1:
103: P1 in pro, P6 overall.
104: P4 in pro, P16 overall.
Race 1:
103: DNF (fastest lap)
104: P4 in pro, P13 overall

Qualifying 2:
103: P2 in pro, P10 overall
104: P6 in pro, P17 overall
Race 2:
103: P2 in pro, P8 overall (fastest lap)
104: P5 in pro, P16 overall!

Qualifying has been our strong point this season, and finally, we were able to make it count! 103 missing class pole on Sunday by 100th of a second!

It wasn't plain sailing despite having great pace. 103 suffered a puncture whilst leading the first race, resulting in a big crash, meaning we had to retire and repair the kart for the race on Sunday. Despite the fact that the kart did not have the same ultimate pace after the repairs, we were able to take it home missing out first place by seconds.
104 struck a similar fate after deserving a 3rd place finish in the second race. Unfortunately, the Nassau brackets sheered in the final moments of the race leading to forced repairs, allowing the kart behind to take the final podium spot!

Congrats to the race winners this weekend and a shoutout to the Apollo Karts teams who all put a shift in working together to achieve the best possible results! Especially with the numerous mechanicals and punctures! Mechanics were hard at work all race!

Next up, we head to Wales for GYG Karting!

Another British 24-Hour is in the books for the team.

After spending the week recovering, we look back on our highlights from another crazy event.

Continuing our strong qualifying performances this year, Luke managed to put the 103 12th on the grid, 3rd in class in torrential conditions.

A dramatic delayed start saw both karts hit difficulties early on. 103 had the pace to win it, but problems saw them clawing back from dead last to fight for the final spot on the podium after 22 hours, just to have a tie rod fail on them, meaning they finished 5th in class, 16th overall. The drivers did a great job keeping the kart out of trouble, it came home almost untouched. A great team effort.

While the inexperienced 104 boys gradually built up confidence, keeping the kart circulating and fighting for 5th in class, 24th overall by the end! A respectable effort from the Clubman team.

We rest up and get ready for the 2nd BPEC double header of the season, Rounds 7&8 at Ellough Park Raceway in 4 weeks' time.

Congratulations to the podium sitters, a shoutout to X Racing for their outright class victory, and a special mention to Red Graphix and Jess Alexander who had a horrific crash whilst leading the race, with a folded kart, they managed to come back and finish 5th overall. Astonishing. All the best on your recovery Jess!

A huge thank you to Apollo Karts and the team, who were flat out all event. Flawless mechanical work. Truly is great to be a part of such an amazing team.

British 24 Hours - 7 Hours to go⏰

We’ve just passed the 7 hour to go mark and currently it looks like this for our teams as we run to the flag now the sun’s up again☀️

#17 Nexus Racing are running P3 and still competing for the overall win after a drama free run through the night.

#113 Red Graphix are currently making their way back through the field in 11th overall after a huge crash in the third hour of the race.

#10 X Racing have been fighting for the Super Pro class win all race long and are still engaged in a close fight for the podium places in class.

# 311 Moore Racing have had an eventful race, involving a chassis change and two engine failures, largely taking them out of contention but still circulating and putting in some solid laps.

#103 Rethink Pink are currently running P4 in class, despite a few issues in the night, and look well set to take the fight for the podium places into the final hours of the race.

#104 Rethink Blue have been getting up to speed with a lot of their drivers being new to endurance racung, but despite a few crashes and issues in the night are still pushing on for a clean run to the flag.

#65 MyPremier-PRIME Motorsport have had a stone stuck in one of their sprockets and a few minor incidents with hire karts needing repairs, a frustrating race for one of our full season regular teams…

We keep pushing to the flag now - hoping for a clean run and some solid results🤞🏻
