The Summer heatwaves have resulted in a lot of low impact options in class, however these options are always given weekly because like life our workouts don’t have to be 100mph all the time. ☀️😎

Just because you didn’t do intense high impact doesn’t mean you haven’t had a successful workout or class. If you leave feeling positive you’ve had a great one! 🤩

Taking things slower we notice how our bodies feel, how they’re responding to steps and a lot of the time it gives us more oxygen and breathe to sing a long to the great songs on the playlist! 😉🎶🎤🤩

It’s been a great Summer of workouts. A big thank you to everyone who’s joined me for a move & groove!

Back at Washington Mind this morning for our 11am-12pm Megs Moves Workout!

This class has become so popular. It’s amazing seeing so many people walk through the door and experiencing the joy of dance every week. 🤩

Everyone leaves smiling and feeling positive, stronger, happier, calmer & relaxed!

Lots of high and low impact options given throughout class as well as seated options. Any exercise we do standing there’s a seated option to match making it suitable for all abilities!

Hello Movers, Happy Monday!

If anyone is concerned about attending workouts tomorrow due to the high temperatures we’re forecast please know all classes tomorrow will have low impact and seated options with a main focus on toning & strengthening exercises as well as our lovely, relaxing deep stretch cool down 🤩

Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated and maybe a towel to wipe the glisten/sweat away 💦💦

It’s amazing what positive impact a class can make to your day, week, mood, health & life. 🤩

Some people have approached me to share how life has changed for the better since taking part in workouts and every time I’m blown away.

Some people may say ‘How can it have such a positive impact and be life changing?’
My answer to them would be;
- Megs Moves is a safe, judgement free, friendly, positive place and atmosphere.
Megs Moves prides itself on making everyone feel safe, confident and comfortable in classes.

- People socialise, making and maintaining friendships.
Whether you come with friends and that’s your socialising for the week or maybe you’ve made new friends by coming along to class the spaces are always filled with chatter and laughter before we get started and after.

- Classes are made suitable for all abilities.
Seated, low and high impact options are given throughout workouts. Some exercises and routines are known to have 4 different options.

- Classes are FUN
This is a top priority. Dancing is joyful and at Megs Moves I want to spread the joy!! Last week Tony Christie’s Classic Amarillo went down a treat. Everyone was dancing, laughing and singing along to the ‘SHA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA’s nice and loud. 🤩
The positive atmosphere was infectious. 🥰
Everyone left smiling & rosie cheeked!

Attending classes has helped some people feel stronger, confident, cure loneliness & have fun.

Always grateful and feel very blessed to everyone for attending weekly sessions. Thank you for another great week of workouts. 🙏🏽
