Last night was our annual Presentation Night, where our students demonstrated a range of karate for their families. They were all fantastic and showed just how much progress they’ve made this year. We are very proud of them.
We also gave out four very special awards.
Our Students’ Student of the Year is Will G. Despite only joining us earlier this year and not knowing anybody in the class, the fact that his fellow students have voted for him for this award just shows how perfectly Will has fitted in to the group. He works very hard at his karate every week and is an absolute pleasure to have in the club.
Our Young Senseis’ Award was voted for by our 1st Dans, who help us in the club to support the lower grades. They chose George Orwin, for always working hard, being kind and listening well. Big thanks to our black belt Jacob who stood up last night to speak about George and present this award.
Our Adam Bosher Award is always given out to a student who has worked exceptionally hard to overcome challenges and shown a brilliant attitude. This year it’s gone to William A, who continues to make massive progress.
Our final award is our Student of the Year, awarded to Alex. Every week he turns up, focuses on his progress, helps others whenever he can and epitomises everything we try to do in the class.
