Thats the season done for the The Willow Pond FC, as we signed off with another win vs Ryhope CW
2-0 down...... the lads woke up and played their way into a nice 3 points to end the season. 3-2
Its been a solid season for the lads which tbf could have been better, but we have built some great foundations for next season and will only be stronger when we go again.
News to share today..........
Lee Hermiston will now be at the wheel moving into next season, as he replaces Stu as gaffer.
You can see by the delight in his face when signing his terms today, he cant wait to get going with the lads and build on what we have.
Supported by Jamie, Karl, Stu and Dave...... next season already looks like it could be a good one for the lads.
The club would like to thank Stu Lawrence for his efforts this season, as without him the team was done.
Stu now wishes to concentrate on playing and educating the Sunderland Sunday League refs on how best to do their jobs on a sunday.
Next season is a big one for him, as he will be able to play with both his lads and this is something as a club we cant wait to see 😁
