Last Sunday we hosted the morning of the annual Halstead & District charity mixed doubles competition for the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance alongside our friends at three other local clubs. As it stands, over £4000 has been raised which is super amount!!
Congratulations to some of our STC members for partaking and qualifying out of their groups to compete in the knockouts in the afternoon.
Fran & Liz, Evie for coming runner-up in the plate and Matt and his partner Abi for eventually taking the title after a great battle in the rain.
A special mention to Wendy for organising and coordinating a brilliant tournament, to STC, Earls Colne, Gosfield and Castle Hedingham for being hosts, and another mention to Castle for running a brilliant knockout competition to finalise the standings during the afternoon.
