Our super groom of 2 years is leaving us to start her new journey! Wishing her the best of luck.

So we are now looking for a freelance groom to cover between 3-5 mornings a week at a small yard in Halstead.

To start in the new year, we have a really nice quiet yard, never more than 6 horses in.

Job is:
Mucking out (Must muck out to a high standard)
Making haynets
Poo picking
Auto waters in every stable

Looking for someone to work Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays in hadleigh Suffolk for 3hrs per morning, 5 horses.

Also looking for cover to include weekends in Colchester 6 horses.

Pay above minimum wage and all lovely easy horses.

Just a little over a year ago, I fell for this guy! Samuel G aka Sam.

With no false illusion that I would ever be worthy (confident, good enough) to sit this nervous, unpredictable but big hearted power house.
Willingly, I handed him over to our amazing Coach and friend Jess Thompson with a “ fill ya boots” approach.

NEVER under estimated the power/determination of a great trainer/trainers.
As here we’re are together…….😄

Witnessing first hand, day in and out, all weathers, the patients and kindness connecting with Sam in a way and pace that he loves.

Along with Coach Issy Whiting, )Sam’s weekly hacking date🤣 showing him the outside world, Sam and I now have new goals together.

If there was a “Hugyacoach Day - today would be that day.🤣

After a long period in training, first outing this year for our gorgeous Samual G - which paid off with a super 73%.

We are so proud of this loveable chap and all the hard work that has gone into getting him to this point.
