Due to a couple of long term injuries and player movement, Sudbury FC are looking for a few additional players for the current season.
We are the current Uttoxeter Division One Cup Holders.
We play in the Uttoxeter and District League Division One League on a Sunday morning against teams from the Uttoxeter, Stone, Tean, and Cheadle areas.
Players must be 16+. We play home games in Uttoxeter.

Division One Quarter Final.

Sudbury FC 2 - 0 Howee’s Hillbilly’s FC

Sudbury began their defence on the Div One Cup with a hard fought 2 0 victory our fellow Div One chums Leigh United.

Christian Holmes was at the double to ensure a good start to 2026.

We share a thought for our close friends at Leigh United during this difficult time losing to Sudbury 😉.

Uttoxeter and District Division One Final.

Tuns FC 2 - 2 Sudbury FC (Sudbury win 4-3 on penalties)

On Friday night we defied the odds to become Uttoxeter and District Division One Cup winners against League Champions Tuns FC , and the first Sudbury side to win a cup in the Uttoxeter Leagues 52 x year history.

The game was a hard fought encounter and ended in a 2 - 2 draw. Sudbury scorers ironically were the same as the semi final victory Caelane McKone and Dom Hillier. The game would be decided in a penalty shootout.

Sudbury keeper and player of the match Tom Cave wrote himself into Sudbury FC folklore by saving 3 x penalties during the shootout. Despite misses from Kucher, Ray and Leatherbarrow. Victory was sealed when Hillier blasted into the top bin to so spark wild scenes of celebration.

Tremendous credit to all the players who showed tremendous character and resilience during the game and throughout this season.

The trophy caps off 10 x years of hard work and dedication to grassroots football in the local area along with the memories, friendships and experiences moments like this can give.

We thank every person who has ever played, supported or helped the club in the last 10 x years.

Unfortunately we cannot celebrate moments like this at our home pitch in Sudbury due to the The Children's Country House at Sudbury NT.

Uttoxeter & District Sunday League and all the volunteers for putting on a great final and occasion at Rocester. We appreciate all the unnoticed work you all do.

Our Division One final against the Tuns FC has been confirmed for Friday 11th April, 7pm kick off at Mill Street, Rocester FC's ground.

Details below of our first cup final of the season which will be played next Friday 11th April at Rocester Football Club between Tuns FC and Sudbury F.C.
