Sudbury FC is an 11-a-side football team for adults, playing in the 2nd division of the Uttoxeter & District Sunday League. The club is owned by Tom Crutchley and is based just off the A50 between Uttoxeter and Burton On Trent.

- We are an FA Accredited Club.
- FA qualified coaches.
- We specialise in smaller group sessions, focusing on enjoyment and development.

Marchington FC 5 - 6 Sudbury FC

Sudbury FC continued our recent good pre season form yesterday edging Uttoxeter Premier Division and our good friends Marchington FC in an 11 x goal thriller at Silver Lane.

The game was playing in a great spirit and could have gone either way.

We thank Marchington Football Club for hosting us and wish them all the best for the forthcoming season.

That makes it three wins in a row in pre-season. Hard fought, but the hard work everyone is putting in is paying off and starting to show with the performances against a tough.Abbots Bromley Side.

A pleasure to see some players making a comeback aswell.
Kieran Bullock returning and slotting in like he's never been away with a dominant display and bagging with a diving header.
And the other, after his 2 month transfer and 'giving his everything for the badge' elsewhere and 'trying a new challenge', Will Hawkes made his return. Wearing the kit he kept when he left as he couldn't bear parting with it, and sending the other 10% of balls we had into the field at the other end after attempting what appeared to be a conversion rather than a free kick.

Next up, The Oaklands FC at home on 9th August after a weekend break.

We wish Abbots Bromley well for the season.

We play in the Uttoxeter and District League Division One League on a Sunday morning against teams from the Uttoxeter, Stone, Tean, and Cheadle areas. Training on a Thursday Evening in Uttoxeter.
Players must be 16+. We play home games in Uttoxeter.

Sudbury FC 2 - 0 Howee’s Hillbilly’s FC

Sudbury began their defence on the Div One Cup with a hard fought 2 0 victory our fellow Div One chums Leigh United.

Christian Holmes was at the double to ensure a good start to 2026.

We share a thought for our close friends at Leigh United during this difficult time losing to Sudbury 😉.
