Officers are appealing for help from the public to find a missing man from North Dorset.

Tim, aged 58, was last seen at 8.50am on Thursday 22 May 2025 in Spar Riverside Garage in West Stour. He was travelling in a grey Volvo V50 estate with the registration number GK58 AHY.

Tim is described as five feet nine inches tall and of stocky build with a dark greying beard. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded jumper with paint on it, light-coloured trousers, white trainers and he had ear defenders with him.

Inspector Nicki Chalstrey, of Dorset Police, said: “Tim has not been in contact with friends or family since he was last seen and we are concerned for his welfare.

“I would ask anyone who has seen Tim, or a man matching the description given, to please come forward.

“I am also appealing to anyone who may have seen the vehicle described in the area to please get in touch.

“Finally, if you see this appeal Tim, please contact us or your family as we all just want to make sure you are OK.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Tim’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55250073332.

Well it must be time to get the new cricket season up and running then!!!

Our 1st XI take on both Wimborne and Christchurch in a T20 double header at the Marnhull rec this Saturday, the 2nd XI head to Broadstone and the 3rd XI host Blandford.

It is with great regret and much sorrow that we announce the death of Lucy Ralph who passed suddenly earlier today.

Lucy was a wonderful wife to Edwin and an even better mother to Lilly, Miriam, Reuben, Anna and Emmanuel. Although she only played a short while for our Marnhull Maidens due to complications with her cancer treatment in 2012, she was however always a great supporter of Marnhull Cricket Club since 2004 in many other ways and her cricket teas were the stuff of folk law.

The family greatly appreciate the love and support that will undoubtedly come from the MCC family but would ask for some space at this difficult time.

She will be greatly missed. X
