It's time to say Goodbye...
17 year's ago I started my Dance School, Stur Steppers at St. Mary's Church Hall in Sturminster Newton. Rhiannon Phillips and Kayleigh Harris, were only 10 and Amy Hurst was only 4! The Dance School grew and grew and eventually I had classes Tuesday to Friday evening's and Saturday mornings for children aged 3 to 16 and an Adult Tap class which my mum and my closest friends, Debbie Hurst and Alvina Shepard used to attend (sorry but too many names to mention all of you over the years!). I've had some amazing times and very fond memories with you all. I am glad that I had the opportunity to share the experiences I had as a young dancer over the years. The Showcases, Pantomimes, Guest Dancers in other Shows or local Events, Dance Workshops. Something all of us will never forget.....
Thank you, not just to my pupils but to the Mum's/Dad's/Families/Friends and my Family that have helped along the way to make my dream come true 😘

Due to the extreme heat ☀️ 🥵 Tuesday and Wednesday I have decided to cancel the last Dance Classes for the Summer Term.

The New Year term starts next Tuesday 11th January. We must abide, as usual, by the rules of The Exchange.

STURMINSTER DANCE SCHOOL
Dance classes return next week 7th September in the Dance Studio at The Exchange.
This term we will be working towards our Christmas Show which is Friday 17th December and also the SNADS Pantomime which is 'The Little Mermaid' 16th - 19th Feb 2022. The Senior girls will hopefully be back dancing again with the fab band 'The Zoots' when they perform locally.

Hi Everyone... Happy New Year 🎉
Due to the current COVID situation we won't be able to return to our dance classes for the moment 😔 The Exchange will also remain closed. Let's hope it won't be too long before we can get back to dancing again 🎶

Hi Everyone,
I've decided it's sensible not to have the dance classes this week, which is a shame 😔 but several of the girls have been sent home to self isolate from William Barnes and the High Schools due to COVID cases reported in their years.
I think it's best if we start back in the new year which will be week beginning 4th January. I hope you all have a wonderful family Christmas🎄🎅⛄🦌Let's hope 2021 will be a better year 🤞😃
