Entertained Broadway on Saturday in our final game of the season and came away deserved 2-0 winners .
We started off tremendously , passing the ball from back to front with great enthusiasm and it was no surprise when we got the first goal - oh no , a dubious offside decision . We carried on playing some great football but we’re thwarted at the final stage by their inspired goalkeeper, he was barrier we had to break through . Kaja did just that with a long range effort . 1-0 half time.
We continued in the same vain in the 2nd half and Hannah was able to convert one of the many chances . There were some really good individual performance but the great thing about this win was the team performance.
Well done girls , several now leave us for pastures new , they have been with us for several years and personally I can say I have been really proud and pleased to see how they have progressed . Good luck and best wishes for the future.
Onto next season now and we have a good , exciting basis for next season and look forward to next season with anticipation .
Thanks to all the parents who have been so supportive over the years, would not be able to have done it without you , finally thanks to Spencer for a great coach this year and having to put up with me .

We travelled to Bournville last night , a very windy and a sloping pitch awaited us .
We started the first half quite well , passing the ball around but never really got going. The effort was there but not the quality we are getting used to. Indeed after 15 mins Bournville went ahead . We continued to press but the Bournville defence was resolute through to half time .
The 2nd half was a different story , we got an early equaliser via Persia and began to play like we normally do. After 70 minutes Maisy got her first goal for the club with a long range effort quickly rolled by a third goal and 2nd one for Persia. We pushed forward time and time again and Tara got the well deserved 4th goal .
Final score was a 4-1 victory .
We play our last game of the season on Saturday against Broadway.

We played title contenders Worcester City U18 girls on Saturday and in a similar fashion to the 2nd half last week played some great football against a good side .
The game was end to end and we were making chances , one hit the top of the cross bar with the goalie well beaten. At the other end we were firm and resolute in defence , having to make several last ditch efforts . It came as a complete surprise when a long lob from 35 yards managed to sneak past our goalie into the net . 0-1 at halftime .
Worcester started the 2nd half with a great deal of effort , making chances but not converting . We were under pressure and only attacking on the break . Although they put us under a lot of pressure it was through a defensive error that they got their 2nd . Pushing forward for more goals Worcester managed to score another 2 . 0-4 Final whistle .
2 games to go now , one on Thursday against Bournville and the final game on Saturday at home v Broadway .

We entertained league leaders Lye yesterday and earnt a very hard fought draw, final score 2-2.
The game started and we were put under pressure immediately by Lye who were playing some good football , however it was a mistake that led to the first goal in the fifth minute. Lye continued to push hard and were rewarded with a second goal after 18mins, again a costly mistake.
The girls rallied and began to get their passing game going , a shot just past the post and one just over the bar , so nearly but to no avail. Down 2-0 at half time.
The 2nd half was a different story , the girls began to exert pressure on the Lye defence and it was no surprise that after 58 mins we got the equaliser from Amélie, 10 minutes later saw Hannah calmly put the ball in the net to make it 2-2 . The last 20 minutes saw both teams in a physical battle with no quarter given , the defence of the our goal was tremendous and we made chances at the other end but and we were a little fortunate not to come away with the winner.
A great performance by all.

Next weeks game isn’t any easier and we play league contenders Worcester at home and anticipate another humdinger of a game .

Bromsgrove Sporting under 13 girls
Our final game of the season was a home game against Inkberrow Eagles. Sporting started strongly and were keen to get on the ball and play from the outset. Some good football was being played and the girls were keen to pass and play well.

Sporting did get lucky with a speculative looping shot from Inkberrow catching Layla off guard and coming out of the sun which managed to hit the crossbar. At the other end Sporting had some good build up play resulting in a great chance for Freya but the bounce didnt help her and the goalkeeper saved.

In the second half Inkberrow managed to break the deadlock with a cross catching Sporting ball watching and the Inkberrow forward did well to put the chance away - 0-1.

Five minutes later a fantastic run from Gracie saw her go through one-on-one, her shot beating the keeper but hitting the post. Immy also had a couple of decent chances which were saved and ultimately we would pay the price when after some possession, Inkberrow managed to double their lead with a fine strike.

The last five minutes saw Sporting pushing hard to get back into it and were rewarded when a cross come shot was deflected in for an own goal. The game ended 1-2 and Sporting can feel a little hard done by to not come away with anything but it was great to see some excellent football played and a good game to end the season on.

Its been a fantastic first season and considering a number of our squad had never played before starting this season we have come a very long way. We will all have a well-earned break now and look forward to getting back to pre-season. Thanks for all the support this season, stay tuned for updates during pre-season.

Bromsgrove Sporting Under 18 girls
We travelled to Tamworth on a very very hot Saturday morning with a reduced squad and came a way with a worthy 8-0 win .
We started well and passed the ball around nicely and very nearly scored in the first 5 minutes .
It was not long before we did get the first goal , quickly followed by a second. We piled on the pressure and really should have had a further 3 or 4 goals but we were not clinical enough with our finishing . A further goal did arrive 3-0 at half time .
The 2nd half was much the same as the first , we made the chances but could not convert , with the heat affecting the opposition more than us we scored 5 goals in the 2nd half to make it 8-0 .
We play league leaders Lye this week at home .

Bromsgrove Sporting Under 10’s girls played their final game of the season away to a strong Catshill Under 10’s Girls team. With a new goalkeeper and a fresh formation in place, the girls took to the pitch with a few early nerves. Catshill applied pressure early on, but our girls gradually found their rhythm, growing into the game and showing great determination.

As the first half progressed, Bromsgrove Sporting began to push forward more confidently, displaying the skills and teamwork they've worked hard on throughout the season. The girls welcomed the half-time whistle after a challenging but promising opening period.

After a positive team talk and a few key tactical changes during the break, the girls returned to the pitch with renewed energy and purpose. The second half was much more balanced, with Bromsgrove creating more chances and competing well across the pitch.

Though the result didn't go our way, it was a proud performance that reflected how much this team has grown over the season. Every single player has made fantastic progress, and their passion, teamwork, and commitment have been a joy to watch.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of the girls for their hard work, dedication, and positive attitude throughout the year. You've all come so far — and we couldn't be prouder.

The under 13 last game of the season is this Saturday , whilst the under 18 still have 5 to play !!
