Evening all,

It is with a heavy heart that I post tonight to explain that due to rising costs of hall hire it is financially not feasible for me to run my Highland Hustle Tots class’s at this moment in time as I’d already be at a loss without taking into consideration licensing and insurance costs.

I hope that I can start up again in the near future but given the rising cost involved in facilitating the class and the low uptake on parent/child participant I don’t know when this will be.

In the meantime I will be focusing on providing sessions to local school groups, rainbows, brownies etc. Please get in touch if you’d like further information.

I’d like to say a HUGE thank you to all parents and children that have supported me over the last few years during my tots journey and I hope to see you all again soon!

For now it’s over and out from Thistle and I but KEEP DANCING!!!!

Please express your interest for our next Tots Block on a Monday at Macbi.

If I have numbers, this block would start Monday 8th January 2024 for 6 weeks. £30.

Previously the time was 15:30-16:15 but can accommodate an earlier time if that suits.

Tots is Suitable for 18month/walking - age 4/5. Siblings welcome free of charge with a paying participant if that helps around school hours.

5 weeks ago during our first tots session with a group of newly turned two year olds i questioned whether id taken on more than I could chew. Class was loud, chaotic, and i slightly underestimated the challenges of getting a group of two year olds to engage in a single routine 🥴😅

5 sessions later we are slowly but surely seeing our tots begin to attempt pointy toes, attempt their highland fingers and join in with the fun and games. These smiles melt my heart and remind me why I love teaching basic highland concepts to children at such a young age.

Dancing, music, rhythm and coordination are so important for positive growth. You might think “what they learning at this age” but trust me, these little boys and girls are soaking it all in.
