This Saturday at 12:30pm we come together for the annual Liz Cratchley Memorial Match – a special inter-club game where players past and present dust off their bats and pads in memory of Liz. Liz was far more than just our treasurer; she was the heartbeat of the club, always ready with a smile, a story, and the uncanny ability to find a new recruit with only a day’s notice. Her presence is still felt and she is deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Expect a game filled with everything cricket has to offer – soaring sixes and delicate fours, elegant cover drives alongside the odd agricultural heave, and perhaps a few beamers to keep things lively. There’ll be quick singles from those who should know better, laughter on and off the field, and plenty of tales of seasons gone by.

Once the final ball is bowled, the celebrations continue at The Vine Tree, where drinks, good company, and more memories will be shared.

Come along, bring your friends and family, and be part of a day that celebrates cricket, community, and the wonderful Liz Cratchley.

🏆 Promotion Secured! 🏏

In the last league game of the season, a crucial win against Whitminster 2nds, securing our spot in the Stroud Premier League! 🎉

It was a brilliant team effort, with J. Powell delivering a stellar 5-wicket haul, while D. Morss and P. Richter led the charge with the bat to seal the victory.

🏏 Randwick CC on a Winning Streak! 🏏

That’s seven wins on the trot for Randwick CC! We’re going from strength to strength. Today, we faced Whitminster CC, who put in a solid effort with 89 runs. Randwick CC brought it home after just 25 overs. 🎉

A special mention to our fantastic father-and-son bowling trio, who took 5 wickets between them, and Tom Hilton, who added 3 more to the tally. Incredible effort by everyone! 👏👏

With a team that will raise the eyebrows of even the most hardened grumbler and genuinely has an average age in the low thirties, Randwick are ready.

Today, Randwick CC welcomed Oldlands CC to the slope for an exciting match. Despite a strong batting performance from Oldlands, who set a target of 119, Randwick CC chased it down with determination for a well-earned victory! 🎉
