Although the weather didn't quite get the memo this year, hundreds of our Minis, Juniors and their families joined us at Victory Park on Sunday 10th May for a fantastic end-of-season celebration.
For the first time in many years, we didn't have glorious sunshine, but a slightly cooler day certainly didn't dampen the spirits! We enjoyed a BBQ, face painting, inflatables, and every player received their well-earned medal and certificate. ๐ฅ
This year also saw the introduction of end-of-season awards for our older age groups, recognising Players' Player, Coaches' Player and TREDS โ a fantastic way to celebrate the commitment, progress and achievements of so many of our young players throughout the season. ๐
The day was rounded off in style with the legendary slip 'n' slide!
As another season comes to an end, we'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who makes our Minis & Juniors section such a special place.
To our coaches and volunteers โ thank you for the countless hours, energy, dedication and enthusiasm you give every week. Your commitment creates a positive, supportive and enjoyable rugby experience for every child.
To our parents and families โ thank you for the early starts, washing muddy kit, away-game journeys and for getting the children to training and matches week after week. We couldn't do it without your support.
And most importantly, to our Minis and Juniors โ thank you for your effort, determination, teamwork and enthusiasm throughout the season. You make us incredibly proud and are the reason we do what we do.
A special thank you also to all the families who gave gifts to the coaches at the end of the season. Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated and means a great deal to those who give up so much of their time for the club.
Finally, thank you to everyone who helped organise and run the end-of-season party. Events like this only happen because of the time and effort put in behind the scenes.
What makes this section special isn't just the rugby, it's the community that surrounds it. Every Sunday, players, coaches, volunteers and families come together to create something that we're incredibly proud of.
Enjoy a well-earned break over the summer. Whether you're joining summer training or taking some time to recharge, we look forward to seeing everyone back at Victory Park next season, ready to make even more memories together.
