These photos represent so much more than the years between them, they show confidence, commitment, friendship and young athletes growing up with LCS by their side. ❤️
Sadly, many girls stop taking part in sport as they enter their teenage years. Body changes, school pressures, exams, friendships and confidence can all play a part. In fact, research from Women in Sport found that 43% of teenage girls who once enjoyed sport become disengaged from it during their teenage years.
At LCS, we want to help change that.
Many of these athletes joined us before they were 10 years old. Now, they’re preparing for their final year of secondary school, getting ready to sit their GCSEs, thinking about college and even becoming Assistant or Lead Coaches within our club.
Watching them grow from young cheerleaders into confident young people and inspiring role models makes us incredibly proud.
When we say LCS is a family, we truly mean it. We’re here through every stage of our athletes’ lives—to listen, support, encourage and give them somewhere to take their minds off exams and everyday pressures, be themselves and do something they love.
We want every athlete to feel confident in who they are, break away from expectations and believe they can achieve anything they set their minds to, both inside and outside the gym.
This is more than cheerleading. It’s growing up together, lifting one another and creating opportunities that can last a lifetime. 🔥❤️
