Thrilled with SuperJim today at Aston-le-Walls Intermediate. He scored a lifetime personal best in the dressage for a mark of 31.6, followed by a very springy clear round in the showjumping! I planned not to run XC as I'm saving my special boy for bigger things!

This weekend 5 years ago..

Eventing at Withington Manor Open Novice with one star dressage test, both Tinkas Gold & Just Jimmy finished on their dressage scores, Tinkas Gold was placed 6th!

Feels like yesterday.. Very lucky to still have both boys with me today!

Brilliant day at the all new Portman horse trials in fantastic sunshine & great friends for company!

Winnys Light jumped another double clear inside the time in the Novice to finish on his dressage score, gaining another BE point.

Also feeling like a very proud trainer as Sammy Buck & her horse Reed Hill Rose completed their first Novice together which was Sammy's first ever Novice, with a qualifying result!

Lovely new parkland venue for Portman Horse Trials & beautifully built XC tracks.

Well Burnham Market wasn't meant to be, so trucking all the way home again. Also have some very burnt breeches after my bag caught fire! Most importantly both horses are none the worse for their day out.

Can't wait to jump the boys around my new course tomorrow ahead of the 2* & 3* at Burnham Market.
Skinnys, corners, angles, treble, related distance & planks.
Course & arena are also available for hire or lessons.

So the awful weather has ruined this weekends plans with Gatcombe cancelled. Just Jimmy & Easy Tiger now head to Burnham Market on Friday for the International classes.
