Who fancies a 2024 come back...
A lot has happened in the last few years, gained a beautiful son, lost a wonderful mother just to mention a few.
One thing that has stayed constant is my love for bikes and all things racing related.
I will be using 2023 to regain my fitness and lose a big chunk of weight, as I'm nearly as wide as I am tall currently 😂
If all goes well and I can put a few quid to the side we'll see what we can achieve in 2024. Even if it's a few rounds, I'll just be happy to be back.
I'll be on the look out end of the year for either a mini twin or a pre injection 600 package. I'm not going the powerbike route this time 😂
Let's see what happens, worst outcome is that I get back in shape.

Good morning race fans, been a while right? Hope everyone is well.

Apologies for lack of info over the last 12 months or so but it's been a hectic year, working flat out and changing jobs plus enjoying every moment of fatherhood.

It's coming to the time where I start weighing up my options for next season, as I definitely want to get back amongst it.

Financially it's going to be difficult, so with that in mind I'm considering changing classes to either pre injection 600 or mini twins, depends which package I can pick up over the winter months. I think I can be very competitive in both of these classes.

I will keep you all updated as things progress.

I will not be racing anymore, it's not a decision that I've taken lightly, it's just something I must do.
Full reasoning behind this will be given at a later date.

It's time to dig the bike out tomorrow and get everything sorted for the grand national race meeting at Castle combe in 2 weeks time. Some minor crash damage to repair and a few replacement parts to bolt on, it'll be the first time I've laid eyes on the bike since my accident nearly 3 months ago.

Hi all , apologies again for the long delay in an update.

Due to a change in my personal and living arrangements and more importantly , the fact that I'm becoming a father for the first time later this year (which I'm over the moon about 😀). I will be cutting my racing season short this year.

Castle Combe , the grand national meet on the 8th and 9th of July will be my last round this year. So it would be great to see as many of you there as possible , it's a big meet and there will be a few star names there to further your interest.

I'm not entirely sure what next year will hold for my racing , but there are a few irons in the fire that will probably mean a change of class for me , but more on that as it develops.

My ankle is also nearly healed and I hope to get back on the bike next month , so I can get bike fit for July.

Sorry for lack of recent updates, I've had some issues going on.

My ankle seems to be healing well at this stage, although I am stuck in this air cast until early next month.

Most of the swelling, bruising and pain has dissipated now which has to be a good sign.

I'm seeing my doctor again early next month and he will have his opinion on when I can race again, but it looking likely that Donington Park will be too soon for my return.

If that is the case I'll have to wait for Cadwell Park in June.

Thanks to all the well wishers over the last few weeks, your support means a lot to me.

Further update will come after my appointment with the quack.
