Just to let you all know that if you are travelling to the club from Gloucester or Cheltenham the road is closed from the junction at Pitchcombe. So probably best to use the Motorway and go through Stonehouse or if coming from Gloucester turn off at Edge and go though Whiteshill. Access to the club from the Stroud end is fine although there is ‘Road Closed’ signs there but no problems to get on to Salmon Springs. Road should be open again on Friday.

GOOD NEWS - We are reopening on MONDAY 17th MAY!!!

As of Monday 17th, Matchplay warmly welcomes back its loyal customers, and welcomes all new ones. We are now taking bookings for pool or snooker tables via Facebook, so please feel free to message.

We are opening 7 days a week, 12pm to 11pm. Food is served until 10pm. Darts, Pool and Snooker are all available for walk-ins, however, we recommend you book in advance.
We delayed our reopening to ensure we were "good to go" and have completed our assessments & reviews with Stroud District Council. All customers are required to follow our guidelines we have put into place.

Our cellar has been fully stocked, everything is available on our menu and our staff can't wait to welcome you all back soon. We also have the usual deals on Pool & Snooker available!

Matchplay will NOT be reopening on Wednesday 2nd December.

We have made the decision to not reopen this week based on both local council and government advice. Our priority is the safety of our customers and staff, and we believe we are unable to open while Stroud is in Tier 2.

Further updates will be posted on December 16th when we hope new guidance will be published. Once again, we would like to pass on our thanks to all customers and we look forward to welcoming you all back soon.

WE ARE OPEN! Please share this post!

As of Friday 10th July, Matchplay warmly welcomes back its loyal customers, and welcomes all new ones.

We are opening 7 days a week, 12pm to 11pm. Food is served until 10pm. Darts, Pool and Snooker are all available for walk-ins, however, we recommend you book in advance.

We’re Back !!!

From Friday 10th July Matchplay are once again opening to the public

Our new opening times are from 12 noon to 11pm from Monday thro to Sunday
