It’s Jú here, and I’m excited to share a heart-centered offering with you! Many of you know how passionate I am about connection. The core of my work is to help people reconnect with their true essence and support them in embracing their most authentic selves. Plus, my love for Forró is at the heart of it all!

If you’re new to Forró, don’t worry—you’re welcome to join us! I will guide you through the basic steps in our first hour. We will have two spaces available for dancing, allowing you the opportunity to see and connect with others who are dancing. Get inspired and find your flow! Enjoy! 🧡

Women take your space - with so much Grace and Presence - Sheila Santos!

What a wonderful visit. Radiant energy! Inspiring!

One of her key offerings is Professional Consulting, which has supported prominent figures in both the national and international partner dance scenes. Sheila is also the creator of the - Women Who Dance Project in São Paulo, Brazil, one of the largest communities of women in partner dancing today.

Since 2010, Sheila has been exploring new approaches to partner dancing, promoting a more active role for followers and encouraging leaders to be more sensitive, fostering creativity, musicality, and personal expression that go beyond traditional roles.

What is Forró?

Forró has its roots in the Northeast of Brazil... It also carries its origins and gifts from Africa and Central Europe... As we say :
Feet of Indigenous people
Hibs of African
Shoulders of European

It's a musical genre, it's a rhythm, a dance, a party, it is Art!

Rasta pé, Xote, Baião... So many rhythms that beat through the beats of our hearts...

Is the music of the people, made by the people and for the people. It is music for celebration, devotion, fun, communion, and struggle. It is a timeless music that is alive, just like the people who make it. Forró is always evolving and not a finished product, very much like us!

The dance steps are easy to pick up, and there's a sense of playfulness with all the turns and step variations. Dancing Forró is not only a great way to have fun, but it's also a beautiful way to connect with people through the language of dance. The close connection with your dance partner, the belly-to-belly, heart-to-heart contact, fills you with joy and excitement!
