Here are tonight’s scores from the Slater Summer League, Round 5. In the 9-hole event with four Juniors taking part, Ruan Temple led the way with a fantastic 30 nett*, closely followed by Tom Wishart with 31 nett, Mark Thomson on 38 nett, and James Anderson with 47 nett.
For the general 9-hole scores, Robbie finished with a 54 gross and Archie with 62 gross.
Moving on to the 6-hole Medals round, William Skinner shot 41, coming in at 23 nett for an impressive 18 nett*, while Connor Chalmers scored 35, finishing with a tidy 21 nett*. Harvey Steele was also on form, scoring 51 with a 21 nett* after reductions.
In the 8-hole Putting Challenge, Connor Morrison took the top spot with 36, followed by Thomas Rae on 40 and Torben Durkin with 44.
Our Coaching Group—Lizzy, Callum, Ethan, Finn, Rory, Harris, Jak, Gabe, and Callum—were all working on their pre-shot routines for chip shots. They also had a fun target golf session, aiming for points by landing balls on the orange-coned green and around the yellow pin. It was a great evening with plenty of progress and some brilliant approach shots all round!
