Festival carp fishery in situated on the outskirts of Glastonbury .Formally an old peat workings .In 2007 the owner developed the site to include a fishing lake.The size of the lake is 5.5acres .There are two large islands connected by a bridge that you fish off allowing anglers to fish socially but to totally different parts of the lake resulting in each angler having his own water.The lake has been stocked with 400 stunning fast growing mirror carp and 40 common carp upto 26lb from Carp farmer Andy Parker (Handycarp) these will then be fed for the summer 2013 resulting in a good head of fish from mid/late double up to low thirties with a large head of twenties.There are 10 swims on the lake some of these will accommodate two anglers . There will be whole lake bookings on the fishery either FULL WEEK, FRIDAY TO MONDAY OR MONDAY TO FRIDAY , ideal for parties of anglers from 2 people to 10 people wanting exclusive use of the lake fishing with their mates . RULES:

Fish from designated pegs. All swims to be kept free from litter at all times. Landing nets must be 42" minimum. Only Carp cradles and large beanie unhooking mats allowed. No carp to be retained at anytime. Barbless hooks only. No braided mainlines

No fixed rigs. Rig checks will be carried out by bailiffs. No self hooking devices like THE TWIG

10 lb minimum line. Fish must be returned quickly to avoid causing unnecessary stress. No juniors without adult supervision at anytime. Do not touch the electric fence. NO Maggots

Radios allowed but not loud (do not disturb other anglers). No rods to be left unattended at anytime. Alcohol allowed but drunkeness is not tolerated. Klin-Ik or similar to be carried by all anglers. Anyone found breaking these rules will be asked to leave the fishery. Prices

48hrs bookings at weekends only, unless there is space then 24hr tickets will be available from the Thursday beforehand. Whole lake: full week £2300 Mon - Mon or Fri - Fri
Whole lake: £770 for 48hrs
Whole Lake: £1155 for 72hrs
Whole lake: £1540 for 96hrs
Whole lake: £1925 for 120hrs
