A bit about me …
I recently left my job as Head of Music at a Secondary School, to pursue my passion for sport and fitness. I qualified as a L3 personal trainer and a UKA run leader in 2022. A passion I have been sitting on for a LOONNNG TIME so I’m excited to get going!

assionate about sharing my love of movement and fitness whilst staying injury-free too. What’re my goals?

👉 To inspire others to aim high, set goals and give it a go.
👉 To create and tailor running training plans for seasoned runners aiming for specific races/times or new runners just looking to get started.
👉 Online and in-person coaching and tailored plans for gym work/home workouts specifically aimed at females but not limited to.

I’m opening up just 2 PT slots, available as either 1:1 or 2:1 coaching.

My approach isn’t about quick fixes, scales, or chasing weight loss. It’s about building strength that serves you for life.

But more importantly, I’m people-led. To me, clients are never just names on a programme or numbers on a spreadsheet. I take the time to understand the person behind the goal, building genuine relationships and providing support that goes beyond the gym floor.

What a performance from Caroline at the BustinSkin Triathlon last weekend!

5th lady, 2nd in age cat. and a huge PB as the icing on the 🍰

Caroline has always been dedicated to her cardio training but came to me a 12 weeks ago to focus on building strength & power to supplement 💪
2 focussed strength sessions a week - 1 with me and 1 on her own has already helped her to grab not only to this result but consistent parkrun PBs too. And importantly, no hamstring niggles 💃

You get out what you put in and this lady has certainly worked hard 💪 Can’t wait to see what’s next!

The Benefits of Strength Training for Runners Part 3 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Hills, Trail & X-country runners - this is for you ⬇️

When you’re constantly tackling climbs, uneven terrain and longer efforts, strength becomes about far more than lifting weights — it helps build the power, stability and resilience needed to run strong and stay consistent.

& yes, that can mean lifting heavy 💪 Heavy strength work can help improve force production, running economy and overall durability, especially on hills and trails. Building both lower and upper body strength matters too — strong legs help drive climbs and absorb impact, while upper body and core strength help maintain posture, control and efficiency when fatigue kicks in.

Take Jon for example. Jon will rarely enter a run that doesn’t include some crazy hill … or steps… or mud … but he’s grabbing those PBs & running injury free even with his high mileage🔥🏃‍♀️

Karen and Kai have been coming to me for almost a year now & let’s just say they have been smashing it 👊

Karen:
Half marathon PB ✅
Gone from choosing the 3kg dumbells for upper body to achieving 25kg x8 on the bench press ✅
Deadlifts & Back Squats well up too! ✅
Shoulder mobility 📈✅

Kai:
Half Marathon (smashing his sub-2 goal by 6minutes) and 5km PBs (finally getting that sub-22!) ✅
Deadlifts increased from 55kg to 87.5kg & Back Squats from 35kg - 60kg ✅
Still hates core… ✅😏

An awesome mother & son duo proving that having a training partner can be a HUGE motivation + they’re just great fun! Why not bring your loved one/buddy along with you?!

Well done team 🫶
