A very busy weekend for the club - here is post one!
Thanks to Shieldaig for inviting us to take part in a Sunday social event with them and Gairloch. A few rows around the island, wildlife spotting, the chance to try out each others boats, a wee fun race and cake, lots of cake. A great way to spend a Sunday exploring different waters.As a bonus the weather was nowhere near as bad as previously forecast.

Keep the Date - Saturday 9 May 2026 at 2.30 pm - to name, christen and launch the Wemyss Skiff which has been built by Club builder members

A Wemyss Skiff is a 19 ft clinker boat suitable for one or two rowers and a cox and several coastal rowing clubs have the same model of boat and an event was recently held for this type of boat at Loch Insh

The skiff will be named and christened by Carol Casey, widow of Brian Fraser who was a keen Club boatbuilder for many years

Please come along and bring family and friends along for another big day for the Club as we launch our fourth boat.
