Strathaven Dynamo Amateurs Welcome to our facebook website. Strathaven Dynamo Amateur Football Club has been running now for two seasons.

We are currently playing in the Scottish Amateur Football League, which is the best amateur setup in Scotland. In our first season we finished in third place and qualified for promotion to the ABS Properties Premier Division within the Carluke AFL setup. We went undefeated from the start of the season in August 2008 - March 2009, which was a great achievement considering it was our first season.th

is season we finished third and just missed out on promotion in our first season The amateur team believe in a philosophy which consists of constantly playing the ball on the deck, passing and moving is something we really work on a lot, where we also try to inspire a lot of the younger players with our beliefs. Right now, our results have not been what we wanted, but we are progressing in terms of the way we want to play for next season. With adding a few quality players to the squad for next season, we can aim for success in the seasons to come.
