The half term break has started at Flippers Swim School 😊 We hope all of our swimmers have a lovely week off and look forward to seeing you the week commencing 21st February 🏊🏻

An interesting statistic for those of you who ask ‘when should we stop lessons’

Swim England and their research indicates that 96% of children stop swimming lessons before becoming competent, failing to meet essential water safety standards, such as treading water and swimming in clothes. This means only 4% achieve the necessary skills, leaving millions vulnerable in water.

Quite a scary thought! Swimming is a life skill as well as a great form of exercise for all ages.

There are still spaces on the summer crash course running during the holidays from Monday 28th to Thursday 31st July the cost of this will be £72 and it is open to all abilities.

It is the perfect way to improve confidence and improve strokes whilst having fun, swimming every morning for 4 days in a row 🏊🏻‍♀️🏊🏻‍♂️

Weekday lessons are now pretty much full to the brim but I now have spaces available for most levels on Saturdays. Ideal to get extra lessons in before the summer holidays ☀️🏊🏻‍♀️

After a delayed start due to work on the pool lessons are now in full swing. All the children have settled in really well after the excitement of Christmas which feels so long ago!
