We offer online and live classes, private one to ones, retreats in Mallorca and the UK, workshops and teacher training. Classes are taught by Caroline Skinner who is a level 3 Pilates Instructor, a Yoga Alliance Instructor and Pregnancy Yoga teacher. Our classes are suitable for most ages and fitness abilities and we offer a pay as you go option. Whilst most classes are drop in, booking is require

Don't forget that all-important lift through the waist...We lift up the lower waist in Pilates side-lying exercises to maintain a neutral spine and keep the pelvis perfectly stacked. When you lie down on your side, gravity naturally pulls your waist down toward the mat, collapsing your underside. Actively lifting the waist creates a small gap (often called a "mouse house") that keeps your body in safe, symmetrical alignment.

10 years ago to this day.. . I finally decided to stop teaching classes as I was past my due date, and although i felt absolutely fine...i thought i could probably do with a couple of days off before the baby arrived. 🤣🙃

It could have been pure willpower and determination that kept me going. Yet im convinced it was all the regular Pilates and Yoga ✨️

I was back in class 6 weeks later ( through a mixture of choice and financial necessity)....10 years later, I am glad I made those choices 😀 Pilates and Yoga is a dedicated lifestyle as well as a job.

We will have 10 year old in the house on Monday 🙌

I don’t post much… and that’s kind of the point. ✨️

While some people are busy creating content,
I’m busy teaching 20+ classes a week, running training courses, and actually doing the work....not to mention being a mom to my 9 year old son !

No time for constant updates — I’m in classes not on my phone....and I don't think the clients who attend my classes would appreciate being filmed and photographed 😬

Pilates instructors — this one’s for you 🤍

We pour so much of ourselves into every class.
The planning, the sequencing, the cueing, the holding space…
The physical energy it takes to demonstrate, adjust, and stay fully present.
The mental energy of reading the room, adapting on the spot, and making it all feel seamless.

And somewhere in all of that, it’s easy to forget:
We are not just instructors — we are human beings with bodies, minds, and souls that need care too.

Burnout doesn’t always look like stopping.
Sometimes it looks like showing up tired.
Like pushing through when your body is asking for rest.
Like giving energy you don’t have because you care so deeply.

But here’s your reminder:
Rest is not weakness. It’s essential.

Taking time to recharge doesn’t make you less dedicated — it allows you to keep showing up in a way that feels good, sustainable, and authentic.

Your body deserves the same attention you give your clients.
Your mind deserves quiet, not constant output.
Your soul deserves space to breathe.

Step back when you need to.

Zoom vs In-Person Pilates — let’s talk about it.

Zoom was an absolute lifesaver during Covid. It kept us moving, connected, and sane when the world felt upside down. And honestly? It still has some real perks.

✨ The pros of Zoom:

• No travel time

• No hall hire costs

• Roll out of bed and you’re in class

• I can even pop a wash on before we start & pets can join in too 🤣

• Accessible for busy schedules or those further away

Convenience is powerful. And for many people, it’s what makes Pilates possible.

But here’s the other side.

✨ The magic of in-person:

• Closer observation

• Subtle adjustments

• Hands-on corrections

• Immediate feedback

• That shared class energy & ambience

Pilates is built on precision. The small details matter. Hands-on cueing and being able to truly see how someone is moving is fundamental to the method. There’s a depth that happens in the room that simply can’t be replicated through a screen.

That said, Zoom has given many people something valuable — the opportunity to tune in, take responsibility, and really feel their own bodies without relying entirely on external correction. That self-awareness is powerful.

So it’s not about one being “better.”

It’s about what serves you in this season of your life.
