Wednesday 17th June Sailing Results.

A great night with a Southerly F4 to 5 and a fleet of 9 boats competing in 2 races run by Graeme, Eveline and Jenna.
Some really close racing tonight. Struan beat Lewis in the first race by 3 seconds but Lewis beat Struan in the second race by 4 seconds. Further down the order there were similar tight spaces and in 2nd race 5th and 6th place could only be separated by going down to the hundreds of a second.

David Davies sailed a Quest tonight, ably crewed by wee Michael and his dad, big Michael, while Mike had Jean and Pax crewing for him on the second Quest. Everyone else was sailing single handed dinghies.

Good show. Learnt to sail with SWSA, learnt to race with LRSC 😍

5 castles event done ! Super day at Annandale sailing club and thank you for putting on a fantastic day with good races. Overall in team racing we finished 3rd over all! Well done to all the sailors involved and a special well done to all of our Stranraer sailors!

Wise words--Its race nigh tides in winds slightly onshore from the golf course/Soleburn direction could be a bit bumpy launching /recovering dinghies⛵ might rain might shine summer sailing conditions 10.4°C, the sea has heated🫥 up slightly but will feel cold🥶.

He competed in the 2026 French International Contender Nationals in Quiberon and placed a magnificent equal 3rd.
LRSC may be a small club but our sailors continue to do well on the world stage. 😍
