Join us tomorrow as the Gallagher Premiership Final comes to Phoenix Park! 🍻🏉

We'll have the game live on the big screens, cold drinks behind the bar, and plenty of space in Stowmarket's largest beer garden to enjoy the occasion.

Whether you're backing the Saints, cheering on the Chiefs, or just looking for a great place to watch the final, everyone is welcome.

Another huge turnout for Rumsey Fitness!! 💪🔥

A huge 36 people turned up this week, making it even bigger than our opening session!

The best part? Seeing everyone training together — from 6-year-olds right through to senior rugby players, with parents and kids getting stuck in side by side. It was brilliant to see all ages and abilities pushing themselves, supporting each other, and having a great time.

The energy, effort, and attitude from everyone involved was outstanding from start to finish.

A massive thank you once again to Chloe for leading another brilliant session!

We’ll be back next week with another FREE session for everyone — bring your friends, family, teammates, and anyone who fancies a challenge!

Sorry guys, due to the constant rain today, we have had to call of tonight’s Senior men’s touch!!

The lads are still heading out but for something very different over the Orwell bridge and somewhere a lot dryer. Message if you still wanted to do something!

We are pleased to announce that Gavin Rudland will captain Stowmarket RUFC 1st XV for the upcoming 2026/27 season!

Returning for his 17th senior season at Phoenix Park, Gavin has not only established his place as a leader and dedicated player, but as a crowd favourite - so we know you will all be happy to hear the news!!

After being rewarded Spectators Player of the Year and 1st XV Player of the Year following the 25/26 season, our boys are in great hands! Previous experience as a youth coach also perfectly positions him in a role to guide not only our 1st XV but those in the New Wave of young talent as we begin to transition our colts to seniors and build towards the future of SRUFC.

First putting the Navy, Red and White on at the age of 5, Gav is a true clubman through and though.

Good luck this season bud - we know you are going to smash it 💙❤️🤍

🏉☀️ What a fantastic turnout for this week’s Stowmarket RUFC Summer Sixes!

We had 20 minis players taking part in the earlier session ran by Rich and Dave, alongside this we had more than 70 players in the 14+ session enjoying an evening of rugby, fitness and fun.

There were plenty of laughs, some cracking rugby on display, and a brilliant atmosphere throughout. It was community rugby at its finest – inclusive, welcoming and open to everyone, regardless of experience or ability.

The best part? It’s completely FREE!

If you’ve been thinking about giving rugby a go, getting back into the game, or simply enjoying some summer rugby with friends, come and join us. We’d love to see even more faces next week.

Led by Rumsey - what an opening night!!

28 people turned up to the first fitness sessions run by our Chloe!
People from our club but also Hadleigh, Diss and Bury.

All ages and levels, all put their everything in even ending in a strongman loading race!!

Amazing work from everyone and a huge thank you to Chloe!!

We will be back next week for another big session!
