The 2026 CCA League season starts tomorrow for both our 1st and 2nd XI's.
The 1st XI will be without new captain Muhammad Nauman, as he is in Pakistan getting married, but Rana Waleed Hassan (pictured) steps in to take the reigns against CamKerala 2nd XI at Quy.
Neil Grover will captain the 2nd XI, also taking on CamKerala (4th XI) at Trinity Hall College.
Good luck to everyone taking to the field tomorrow.

We're now down to the last 5 net sessions at Hills Road, before the start of the 2026 season.
24th March - 9pm - 2 Nets
31st March - 9pm - 2 Nets
7th April - 9pm - 2 Nets
14th April - 9pm - 2 Nets
21st April - 9pm - 2 Nets
Don't get caught cold, make sure you attend these sessions, to give the Cherries the best possible start when we get outdoors.

At the Cambridgeshire Cricket Association AGM, I was awarded the Bernard Green shield for 35 years as Secretary of Cherry Hinton Cricket Club.

Every cricket match and training session should have a qualified First Aider present, our first aid course will help you make that happen.

Cambridgeshire Cricket is committed to supporting clubs and volunteers across the county, and in 2026 we’re offering two professionally led First Aid Courses with expert tutor Emma Walker. Suitable for anyone involved in the game, each course provides a recognised qualification with the British Lifesaving Society.
