Join us at Stourport Tennis & Squash Club on Saturday 26th September for a fantastic day of fun while supporting two brilliant causes!

Money raised will be shared between Acorns Children’s Hospice and our club. There’ll be something for everyone:

🍰 Cake sale
🍋 Lemonade stall run by our youngsters
🧸 Guess the teddy’s name
🚗 Car wash
🎶 Live music from 2 Tone in the evening!

🏆🏆 A PLATE DOUBLE FOR THEO! 🏆🏆

The final match of an incredible Club Championships Finals Day saw Theo and Steve face Martin and Chris in our first-ever Open Doubles Plate final! 🎾🔥

It was a highly competitive contest, with all four players producing some fantastic tennis and battling hard right until the end. Theo and Steve eventually secured the victory to make club history as our inaugural Open Doubles Plate champions!

The result also completed a brilliant Plate double for Theo, following his victory alongside Fleur in the Mixed Doubles Plate final earlier in the day—an outstanding achievement! 👏

Huge congratulations to Theo and Steve, and very well played to Martin and Chris after an excellent performance and a fantastic run to the final.

🏆 OUR FIRST-EVER MIXED DOUBLES PLATE CHAMPIONS! 🏆

Congratulations to Fleur and Theo, who have made club history by winning our inaugural Mixed Doubles Plate title! 🎾🔥

They faced Molly and David in an absolutely fantastic final, packed with entertaining rallies, brilliant teamwork and some excellent tennis from all four players.

Fleur and Theo eventually secured the victory to become our very first Mixed Doubles Plate champions—but enormous credit must also go to Molly and David for a superb performance and a brilliant championship campaign! 👏

It was fantastic to see our new Plate competitions being showcased alongside the main events at our prestigious Club Championships, giving even more members the opportunity to experience the excitement of Finals Day.

Well done to all four players—and congratulations once again to Fleur and Theo! 🏆🎾

Yesterday’s Club Championships Finals Day was everything we hoped it would be—and more! 🏆

From the fantastic tennis on court to the brilliant atmosphere around the club, it was wonderful to see so many members, friends and families coming together to watch the finals, support our players and enjoy the day.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, cheered from the sidelines, bought food and drinks, entered the raffle and helped create such a special atmosphere. Your support made the occasion truly memorable! 💚

Congratulations to all our champions, finalists and everyone who competed throughout this year’s championships—and an enormous thank you to everyone who helped organise and run the day.

We already can’t wait for our formal presentation evening, the live draw for next year’s competition and, of course, the 2027 Club Championships! 🎉🏆

🏆 FOUR-TIME CHAMPIONS! 🏆

Chris and Mikey have retained their Men’s Doubles trophy after an incredible final against Billy and Alex! 🎾🔥

The defending champions looked to be closing in on another title, but Billy and Alex refused to give in, mounting a fantastic late comeback and pushing them all the way in a thrilling contest.

Chris and Mikey ultimately held their nerve to secure the victory, retain their crown and become four-time Men’s Doubles champions—an outstanding achievement! 🏆🏆🏆🏆

🏆 LUKE CLAIMS THE FIRST-EVER OPEN SINGLES PLATE TITLE! 🏆

Another fantastic final on Club Championships Finals Day saw Luke take on Dave in the inaugural Open Singles Plate final! 🎾🔥

Both players produced some brilliant tennis, treating the crowd to long rallies, excellent shot-making and plenty of entertaining points. Luke ultimately proved too strong on the day, coming through with an impressive 6–3, 6–3 victory to become the competition’s first champion!

A huge congratulations to Luke, our 2026 Open Singles Plate Champion, and very well played to Dave after a superb run to the final and a brilliant performance on the day! 👏🏆
