GROOM VACANCY

Ideally a freelance person/people but could also be on an employed basis with up to 28 hours a week available.

The role equires an experienced reliable, capable and confident person handling all sizes of horses.
A nice yard to work on with an easy to follow routine with nice horses and liveries.

Hours Available

Mon to Fri mornings 7.30 start for 3 to 3.5 hours a session working with yard owner. Turning out, rug changes, grooming, mucking out and muck picking paddocks (with quad and trailer)

One Afternoon per week
3pm Start approx 3 to 3.5 hours. Sole charge required so must be reliable and capable of managing own time and working to high standard

SUNDAY
7.30 till 12 and 3 till 5.30pm

Another good outing on Sunday at a very wet Horse Events Calmsden for Cath and Buzz.

A good test put them 2nd but a pole at the last in showjumping and some time pens xc in the hammering rain dropped them out the placings. Still a very pleasing way to finish the season with Buzz much more relaxed and rideable.

Cath and Buzz had a great day at Elmwood on Sunday making their eventing debut at last and a 3rd place🥉

Its not been an easy road with Caths fall and hand injury in the Spring and a summer of hard ground and other challenges. Cath has worked really hard with him so it was a well deserved result. Thank you to Horse-Events for a great event and wonderful prizes.
