Join us this evening at the tennis club as we celebrate Ella, our brilliant bartender for the past 18 months. She’s brought energy, smiles and so much positivity to the bar — and tonight we’re giving her the send-off she deserves!

Join us tonight on courts 3 & 4 for a high-energy hitting session led by club coach Alex Ritchie.

Tonight’s focus:

12th December – Festive Social Hit
Courts 1–4 booked for fast fours & mix-in fun, followed by 🍷 wine & 🥧 mince pies. Come from 6:30 PM for laughs, tennis, and holiday cheer!

17th December – Ladies Christmas Tournament
Join Fleur, our Ladies Captain, for festive competition and camaraderie. 🎉 Fun guaranteed!

19th December – Junior Christmas Tournament
All junior players welcome from 5:30 PM – and yes, 🎅 Santa might make a surprise visit!

22nd December – Men’s Christmas Tournament
Nick, our Men’s Captain, invites all men to a fun-filled evening of festive tennis and friendly rivalry. Bring your A-game and your holiday spirit! 🏸🎄

30th January– Club Championship Celebration
A night to celebrate our champions from 2025, honour club legends and party like tennis stars! 🎾✨ Expect a tennis-inspired quiz 🧠, drinks 🍹, dancing 💃, and maybe even karaoke 🎤From 6:30 PM onwards, let’s raise a toast to our amazing club and make memories that last a lifetime! 🌟

🎾🐶 STOURPORT COMMUNITY BALL DONATION! 🐶🎾

At The Port, we care about our community, our environment, and our four-legged friends 💙🐾
Tennis balls unfortunately have a big environmental impact when thrown away — but by giving them a second life, we can make a real difference. So we’re collecting used tennis balls and donating them to local dog charities, where they’ll bring joy, comfort, and hours of fun to dogs in need 🐶✨

♻️ Got old/used balls? Drop them into the collection container in the clubhouse — it’s right by the bar!

It’s a small act with a big impact:
💙 Helping the environment
💙 Supporting local charities
💙 Strengthening our club community

🎾 Another Brilliant Organised Hitting Session Last Night! 🎾

We mixed things up with a slight change of plan… and it paid off! 💥
Last night’s focus was all about attacking second serves — stepping in, being brave, and taking control of the point early.

A huge shoutout to Ollie Tilt for leading the session 🙌
He took us through some brilliant drills to sharpen our returns, followed by match play to put everything into practice. The improvement across the courts was clear to see! 💙🔥

November continues to be one of our most popular months ever for organised hitting — amazing turnout, great energy, and real progress from everyone 👏🎾
