Street Jiu Jitsu At Street Jiu Jitsu we aim to teach you self defence, groundwork, throws & takedowns, weapons & classical jiu jitsu.

Classes are run by Sensei Jim Ward, 4th dan. He has been practicing martial arts for over 21 years and teaching for 15. Wednesday Class: Kid's start at 6.30 pm and finish at 7.10 pm. Adults start at 7.00 pm and finish just before 8pm. Friday adults only class: Class starts at 7 pm.

Thanks to everyone who came tonight. The kids did some brilliant throws, and I was so pleased with how they did the groundwork. The locks the adults did were really good, too. High energy class. It's really great to be back on the mat

Come and learn jiu jitsu. Spend your Summer holiday learning jiu jitsu. Martial Arts are great for kids, it boosts confidence, self discipline and co-ordination.

Due to circumstances beyond our control we will only be running an adults class on a Wednesday.

Kids classes may resume at some point next year.

Despite the heat tonight it was a great class. Everyone worked hard on the techniques.

I did try to keep things light until the back to back for the kids. A lot of red faces after that workout.

Adults did brilliantly at pressure point techniques. I dare say we will be practicing them again soon.
