We are clearing out some unused equipment that we’ve had in storage for a couple of years. If anyone is interested in 2x rounders sets (4x bases and 4x poles in each set) we are selling them together for £35 total.

To support The Mary Stevens Hospice in this difficult time (and to give your little ones a lockdown challenge!) we have set up this fundraising activity for anyone under 12 years old.

🥇1st prize £30
🥈2nd prize £10
🥉3rd prize £5

Information:

1. Entry fee £1.50 (please message if you’re interested and we will send you the payment details)

2. Once we have received your entry fee, we will send you an empty matchbox and entry form.

3. Fill your matchbox with as many different items as possible (no duplicates and nothing unhygienic such as toenail clippings!!)

4. Record each of the items on your entry form.

5. Return your completed entry form and matchbox by 31st May 2020.

Entries will be checked and winners announced by 14th June 2020.

Winners are the children with the most different items in their matchbox!

We always encourage outdoor play, so whether that means in your own garden during lockdown, or in a local wood as part of your exercise hour, have a look at this interesting advice.

There are lots of ways to foster your child’s awareness of surroundings, ability to risk assess and improve their problem solving skills.

It’s really tricky as a parent but give it a go!
